My Beloved Familiars

This is our little girl, Remy.

Remy is under a year old and her hatch day is June 22nd (2024). Remy is a cuddly cockatiel with a mischievious side. In the morning she loves to sit at the window and watch life go by, and sometimes she likes to spend time with our budgies too. Our budgie, Pippin, is infatuated by her, but Merry and Sam could care less (especialy Sam, she will bite her lil toes if given the chance!), but in the end I think she's only interested in the budgie snacks. Poor Pippin!

Merry the Budgeridgar

Merry is one of our three budgie birds we brought home from Jollyes. He is shy and a little lady's man! Merry and Sam have bonded and are constantly together preening each other. Sometime Sam pushes him away because she's a girlboss who likes to do her own thing, but Merry is head over talons for her and is rarely apart! Sometime he and Pippin fight, even though Pippin is clearly asexual and has no interest in fighting! Pippin's one true love is millet seed after all.

Pippin the Budgeridgar

Pippin is our beloved blue angel budgie. We brought him home with Merry a couple years ago from Jollyes. Out of the three, he's the most "chill" one, and doesn't mind playing with humans to a small degree! He loves food, and is able to learn little tricks (he loves to boop your finger for millet seed). He has zero interest in budgie social interaction, but strangely seems to want to get close to our gal Remy for a birdy friendship. Pippin also LOVES to sing loud and boop ALL the things with his little beak. His favorite jams are by Nightwish and loves goth metal.

Sam the Budgeridgar

Sam is our third budgie we got a little later. Initially thought to be a boy, she turned out to in fact be a girlboss..! Sam loves herself first and foremost, but perhaps second would be dear little Merry who is always by her side. As soon as Sam joined the two in their cage, she shook their little dynamic up. What ever happened to bros before chocobos, Merry? Huh? ;) Anyways, Sam loves to do hummingbird maneuvers by hovering in the air, and her favorite perch is a little rainbow loop she loves to sit on. Her coloring is like a combo between Pippin and Merry - greeny/blue.

In Memory:

In loving memory of my previous familiar Cullen, a sheltie dog with a strange personality I loved dearly and will never forget. He was a black tricolor boy who was very shy and anxious, almost a direct reflection of me with my own anxiety and phobias. So huggable and warm, with a funny and sassy personality I will always remember fondly. He passed away recently in America right after my final visit with him at the farm he was staying at, and I strongly believe he held on just to see me one last time.
