Thruthfinder Powder:

For when you think…or know…someone’s lying to you or generally being an untruthful jerkface.

Ingredients:

• Copal resin
• Table sugar

Note: Powdered versions of most herbs are available online. I recommend such sites as Starwest Botanicals and Penn Herbs for the quality products at reasonable prices. Also, if you can get your hands on a good spice grinder, you can make your own powder from dried herb products.

Grind the ingredients together with a mortar and pestle until they’re the consistency of fine sand. If you happen to have something cute to put it in, bottle that glorious stuff.

Sprinkle the powder where you know the target will walk, be it on a doorstep or a walkway or what have you. You can specify a target or just let the magic work on its’ own, in which case any person walking over it will feel inclined to tell the truth when put to the test or questioned directly.

Note: This powder and its’ effect are technically in the realm of compulsion magic. However, the effect is subtle and falls into sort of a gray area in that regard.
