6.) Describe your character’s happiest memory.

Even in Burmecia the rains had to let up some days.

"Hey! You said you'd teach me!" A seven year old Calisto huffed, puffing her cheeks out in that adorably childish manner, "Come on, father!"

"Alright, alright." Her father laughed as he mussed his daughter's hair affectionately, "Just help your mother out with the dishes and we'll get right on that."

"YES!" Calisto squealed excitedly as she ran up and hugged his leg, "You're the BEST!"

. . .

Needless to say, the dishes were done very quickly that morning. Her mother waved the two off, and Calisto bounded up ahead, chattering excitedly about the King's Guard and the Dragon Knights of old.

Overall it was a very calm and lazy day. Although Burmecia was known to be the Realm of Eternal Rain, it wasn't always raining in the region. The days of summer were beautiful. Full of light and laughter, and small breezes that would ruffle your hair playfully.

This day was no exception to that. The sun beamed down on the father and daughter as he began to teach her the very first lessons of being a dragoon knight.

"Now remember, you have to find balance with the lance." Her father stated as he held out his weapon in front of him. The young burmecian nodded, watching intently as her father gracefully swung the lance as he spoke. "It will be like another arm for you. It will become a part of you."

"But... I'm still not even big enough yet to hold Sarissa..." Calisto mumbled. Her father knelt down closer to her level and placed a claw on her shoulder reassuringly.

"You will be in no time, Dearheart. For now though, I got you a little something. Come this way." He waved her over towards an old Oaken tree and she followed close behind.

Behind the old tree lay a very tiny polearm propped up agaisnt it. Calisto let out an audible gasp as she ran up to the lance and held it tightly in her little hands.

"Really? This is mine?" Her eyes were as big as saucers. "My very own lance?!"

Her father smiled. "I had it made just for you."

Calisto swung the lance around, mimicing the actions of her father from before. He couldn't help but chuckle lightly at seeing his daughter so focused on training.

"So what do you think?" He asked her with a smile.

"I really, really, REALLY love it!" She quickly placed her lance up against the tree and then flung herself into his arms. "Thank you."
